Udita Ramesh is the Founder and Proprietrix of U & A Advocates, Bengaluru, and a seasoned litigation strategist with over a decade of experience in civil, commercial, and corporate disputes.
She is recognised for advising on and leading complex, high-value litigation, with a practice defined by precision, control, and outcome-driven strategy. Her expertise spans civil and commercial litigation, banking and recovery proceedings, property and real estate disputes, and select white-collar criminal matters. She regularly appears before courts, tribunals, and regulatory forums, representing clients in matters requiring both legal depth and tactical execution.
Udita began her career at Sreevatsa Associates, where she trained under a designated Senior Advocate – Mr. S. Sreevatsa and developed a strong foundation in litigation. She went on to lead the firm as Proprietrix from April 2024 to March 2026, managing its practice and overseeing a wide portfolio of complex disputes, while mentoring and building a disciplined litigation team.
In 2025, she was elected to the Governing Council of the Advocates’ Association, Bengaluru (Mayo Hall Unit), and Served as Chairman of its Law Research Committee and is serving as the Chairman of the Library Committee.—reflecting her standing within the legal fraternity and her role in contributing to legal thought and institutional development.
